Privacy Policy
Moonsoon is designed to be private by default.

Moonsoon ("we", "the app") helps you track your sleep and understand the sounds you make at night. We designed Moonsoon to be private by default.
The short version
- Your audio recordings and sleep data stay on your device. Night-sound clips are recorded and classified on your device and are not uploaded to us. They stay in the app's local storage for your 7 most recent nights and are then deleted automatically; if they take up a lot of space, older nights' clips may be removed sooner, but never last night's. You can delete them yourself at any time.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We use a small number of third parties (below) for purchases, optional rewarded ads and optional Apple Health / Health Connect sync.
- Ads are optional. No ad software starts until you say yes in the app, and Premium has no ads.

We do not collect your name, email or account — Moonsoon has no login.
Microphone
Moonsoon only listens while a sleep session is active (you start it manually). Audio is analyzed on-device. Clips never leave your phone, and you can delete all recordings and sessions any time from Settings → Delete all sleep data.
Ads
Moonsoon's free version can offer a short rewarded adthat you choose to watch — for example to hear one more night-sound clip, use a Premium sleep sound for one night, or open detailed trends until tomorrow. There are no banners and no ads you didn't ask for. The first time you tap one of these offers, Moonsoon asks whether you allow ads; no ad software starts before you answer yes. Only after that, on iPhone, Apple may show its own "Allow tracking" prompt — you can say no and still watch the ad. Premium and Lifetime have no ads. Your recordings and sleep data are never shared with ad partners; they never leave your phone.
Third-party services
- Apple App Store / Google Play — process purchases and manage your subscription / lifetime entitlement (in-app purchase via StoreKit / Play Billing).
- Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and Unity Ads— show the optional rewarded ads, and only after you allow ads. They may use your device's advertising identifier and data about ad views and taps to pick, measure and protect ads. See Unity's privacy policy.
- Apple HealthKit / Android Health Connect — only if you grant permission; we write the sleep we track. We do not read other health data for our servers.
Your choices
- Decline microphone, Health or tracking permissions at any time in system settings.
- Turn ads off, or back on, at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ads & privacy. Turning them off withdraws your consent from the ad partners and stops ad requests.
- Delete recordings/sessions in the app; uninstalling removes all local data.
Children
Moonsoon is not directed at children under 13.
